Keith Sweat at Mobile Civic Center Arena
Keith Sweat brings a career-spanning R&B catalog to Mobile as part of the “Sweat Hotel” lineup with Johnny Gill and Stokley. The June 10, 2022 event was presented at Mobile Civic Center Arena in Mobile, Alabama, as a concert celebrating classic slow jams and new jack swing.
Born in Harlem, New York City, Sweat became a defining voice of the new jack swing movement. His 1987 debut, Make It Last Forever, helped establish his signature blend of soulful vocals and contemporary R&B, led by the hit “I Want Her.” Other well-known songs include “Make You Sweat,” “Twisted,” “Nobody,” and “I'll Give All My Love to You.” Across more than 13 solo albums, he has also collaborated with artists including Snoop Dogg and Lil' Kim, and is known for hosting the nationally syndicated radio program The Keith Sweat Hotel.
